 | Blanche Top Choice, Wins Pitcher of the Year Award Friday, September 21st, 2018 24-year-old Brian Blanche of the Montgomery Dizzy Dogs put together a good year in 2018 for such a young player. Blanche was named today as the winner of the Sub League 1 Pitcher of the Year Award. Blanche crafted an impressive 9-2 record and a 1.64 ERA. In 109.2 innings he allowed 62 hits, struck out 172, and walked 32. Paul Horton of the Montgomery Dizzy Dogs finished second in voting, while Ryan Roberts of the Montgomery Dizzy Dogs finished third. |   |
