 | Van Houten Has Season End Tuesday, July 11th, 2017 Mark Van Houten had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Kingsford medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Kingsford reliever suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. This season he has made 6 relief appearances with no saves.
