 | Blue Jays James Leibowitz Swings Hot Bat, SL1 Winner Monday, August 28th, 2017 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Sub League 1, but last week James Leibowitz of the Dunedin Blue Jays reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Leibowitz rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 1 home run and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. Leibowitz is batting at a .303 pace this season, picking up 130 hits in 429 at-bats with 3 home runs, 53 RBIs and 61 runs scored. |   |
