Syndergaard Dazzles in Austin Win
The rain at Ballpark of Kansas City did not keep Austin and San Juan from finishing their game.

Right-hander Noah Syndergaard mesmerized the San Juan Rough Riders while leading the Austin Bats to a 4-0 victory. San Juan now has a 6-game losing streak.

Syndergaard, a native of Mansfield, Texas, was dealing all game. He kept San Juan hitters off-balance, while giving the Bats 7 quality innings. Syndergaard threw 108 pitches, allowing 6 hits and striking out 11.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Syndergaard. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
