The Nashua Pride topped the Regina Reapers by the score of 5-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Paul Goldschmidt. Goldschmidt went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles for the Pride on the day. The winner was Felix Hernandez, who threw 108 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 9 hits. George Kontos converted his 3rd save in 5 tries.
In the top of the 6th, third baseman Hunter Simmons gave Nashua the lead when he hit a 2-run home run. The Pride had been trailing 4-3, but the two-out home run off Regina pitcher Raisel Iglesias changed that -- and Nashua went on to win.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Goldschmidt said after the game.
The Pride now have a mark of 35-30.
