Connecticut played host to Regina at the friendly confines of Houston Grounds.

Connecticut overcame a superlative game from Danny Salazar to beat Regina, 5-2. The Regina pitcher took player of the game honors in a losing cause. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Connecticut reliever Craig Kimbrel picked up the win, upping his record to 5-3. Roberto Osuna absorbed the loss.

Connecticut won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Roberto Osuna on the mound for Regina, designated hitter Oswaldo Arcia hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Choppers fans to their feet.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Arcia told the Connecticut Chronicle.

The first-place Choppers have won 4 in a row.
