Florida Wins 11-6 to Continue Red Hot Start
|
The Florida Gators stopped the Indianapolis Indians, 11-6, at Victory Field. The Gators got a big game from J.D. Martinez, who went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The hot start continues for the defending champion Gators, who took their 8th win in 10 games this year.
Making an impact for Florida was left fielder David Peralta. He drilled a double in the top of the first. For the game, Peralta was 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Peralta.
