Coyotes Turn Back Nashua, 5-3

The Nashua Pride got a superb performance from pitcher Thomas Hatch, but the Las Vegas Coyotes still won the game, 5-3. Hatch was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 7 innings allowing 5 runs. Las Vegas reliever Jake Godfrey was the winner. His record is now 7-0. The losing pitcher was Thomas Hatch. With the win, the Coyotes have a record of 58-48.
The Coyotes got a big at-bat from center fielder Enrique Hernandez. For the game, Hernandez was 2-3 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 76th hit of the season gave Las Vegas a 4-3 lead.
Hernandez told a Las Vegas Chronicle reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
