WL Names Best Player

So far in his young career, David Patterson has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Western League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 25-year-old Manitoba Moose catcher hit at a torrid .455 clip as he collected 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
Thus far this season Patterson has hit .327 with 23 home runs, 72 RBIs and scored 61 times.
