5-for-5 Day for Peralta Monday, September 7th, 2020 David Peralta told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Peralta of the Florida Gators did against the Nashua Pride. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a 18-5 defeat. "Not much I can say," offered Peralta in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" David Peralta singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
