Van Tol Brushes Off Clubhouse Issues
Monday, September 7th, 2020
The manager of the Nashua Pride said complaints about the morale and chemistry in his team's clubhouse are overblown.
"No big deal," said Gary Van Tol. "Every ball team goes through issues like this and I think we'll be OK."
Homer Bailey had spoken up to the media recently, saying it was difficult to concentrate on baseball with all the conflict in the dressing room. The approach didn't sit too well with some of his teammates.
"You don't go and talk to the media about stuff like that," said Blake Forsythe. "There's no need to air your dirty laundry, it doesn't help anything."
