Division Remains Up for Grabs, but Avon Lake in Postseason Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 Avon Lake Schooners fans had reason to rejoice tonight, as the team is heading to the Outlaw Baseball League playoffs. With a record of 84-56, Avon Lake is guaranteed a spot in the postseason, although it remains to be officially decided whether or not that's as Eastern League North East Divison champions or in a wild card position. "We have fantastic fans and it feels good to give them something to cheer about," said starting pitcher Julio Urias. "Hopefully there's a lot more celebrating to come." |
