Injury Shuts Down Henderson for Season Thursday, June 18th, 2020 Dion Henderson had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Irving medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Irving reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. For the season Henderson has made 10 relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 2-1 won-lost mark and a 3.47 ERA. In pitching 23.1 innings, he has totaled 29 strikeouts and 18 walks. |
