SL1 Announces Outstanding Batter Award Saturday, August 1st, 2020 A.J. Balta put together a good July to earn the Sub League 1 Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Buckingham officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Misfits right fielder posted a .368 batting average with 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored. Balta is batting .334 this season in 86 games with 3 home runs, 33 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 102 hits in 305 at-bats. |
