Injury Brings Season to End for Hughes Monday, August 3rd, 2020 The Ft. Wayne Sky Sox have made it official: Jared Hughes is headed to the disabled list. The 35-year-old closer has been out since 08/01/2020 with bone chips in his elbow. He is expected to miss 6 months. To date this season, Hughes has fashioned a 2.53 ERA and rung up 15 saves for his club. He has 47 strikeouts and 11 walks. Opponents have hit for a combined .262 average against him and Hughes has a 5-3 won-lost mark. |
