Thompson Befuddles Thunder Bay Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 Thunder Bay dropped a 7-0 shutout to Zack Thompson and the Saskatoon Slither at Sliders Ballpark today. The Jets offered little resistance to Thompson, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 7 and walked 1. "It just felt right today," the left-handed Thompson told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." Over the season Thompson has thrown 114.2 innings and dished out 126 strikeouts with a 5-11 mark and a 3.38 ERA. |
