SL2's Best Player, Meyers of Lake County Monday, September 7th, 2020 23-year-old Aaron Meyers made a few Lake County headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Sub League 2 officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Meyers collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 5 runs. In 35 games this season Meyers has compiled a .286 batting average with 34 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 23 times and knocked in 13 runs. |
