Starlings Win Tight Division 1 Race Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 Winning the Division 1 is a "major milestone" for the Big Bear City Starlings, but according to their catcher, it's only a small part of the master plan. "Win the division, get to the World Series, win the World Series," said Jon Gossling. "That's what we've talked about doing since day one here. We're 1 for 1 so far, so that's a good start." It is the 3rd time in franchise history that Big Bear City has won the Division 1. If the team does in fact go "3 for 3" in accomplishing the team goals, it would be the 3rd World Series in team history. |
