Reapers Raise Rally Flag, Beat Indianapolis, 11-4 | Reapers shortstop Odubel Herrera put his stamp on his team's 11-4 win over the Indianapolis Indians. Herrera went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs for Regina in the contest. Regina reliever Mike Dunn picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Ken Giles took the loss. Indianapolis has now lost 6 in a row.
Logan Forsythe aided the Regina cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Scott Boychuk said.
