Connecticut and Regina duked it out at Houston Grounds and the Choppers came out victorious.

In a low-scoring game between the Connecticut Choppers and the Regina Reapers, pitcher Yovani Gallardo was masterful on the mound. The Connecticut right-hander was named the player of the game in Connecticut's 3-0 win. In 8 innings, Gallardo surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 6. He allowed no runs.
