| Gators Jolt Seawolves with Late Rally | The Florida Gators downed the Erie Seawolves, 5-3, at Yankee Stadium. Ben Zobrist led the way, going 3-for-4 for Florida. The winner was Dellin Betances in relief. His record improves to 3-4. Steve Geltz took the loss. Florida improves to 61-42 with the win. They lead their division by 10 games.
Dae-ho Lee was the walk-off hero for Florida. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Gators first baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"We saved our best for last," said Lee.
