| Bullet Club Subdue Florida, 5-3 | Richmond starter Matt Moore had a strong outing against the Florida Gators at Ballpark of Bullet Club. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Moore got the win, improving to 5-10. He allowed 7 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Moore allowed no earned runs. Aroldis Chapman nailed down his 29th save.
With the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the fifth inning, shortstop Yangervis Solarte delivered big for the Bullet Club. Richmond was leading 1-0 when he belted a grand slam home run.
"We take it day by day here," said Solarte, "and today was a good one for us."
Florida has now lost 6 consecutive games.
