| Freedom Win in Glorious Fashion | Mississippi shortstop Francisco Lindor made his presence felt in the 8-7 Freedom triumph over the Austin Bats. Lindor was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The Freedom saw their record improve to 81-57.
Byron Buxton was the walk-off hero for Mississippi. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Freedom center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We maximized our offense today," said Mississippi skipper Justin Zima. "That makes everyone's life easier."
