| Pride Come Back Late to Top Freedom | The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Nashua fans at Ballpark of New Team.
The Nashua Pride downed the Mississippi Freedom, 9-4, at Ballpark of New Team. Paulo Orlando led the way, going 2-for-3 for Nashua. Nashua reliever Greg Holland picked up the win to move to 2-1. Huston Street suffered the loss.
Orlando had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 changeup from Huston Street, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Pride a 5-4 lead. It was the 16th hit of the year for Orlando.
"We take it day by day here," said Orlando, "and today was a good one for us."
Nashua is second in the Western League North West Divison with a record of 70-71.
