Seawolves Walk Off with Win
The Erie Seawolves scored a 3-2 win versus the Connecticut Choppers at Jerry Uht Park. Erie pitcher Stephen Strasburg nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Erie reliever Carter Capps picked up the win, upping his record to 6-4. Tony Watson was saddled with the loss. The Seawolves, at 78-68, sit in second place in the Eastern League North East Divison.

Dustin Pedroia was the walk-off hero for Erie. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Seawolves second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Connecticut skipper Brandon Zima, "and it cost us."
