| Choppers Stun Gators, 3-2 | In a low-scoring tilt between the Connecticut Choppers and the Florida Gators, Michael Lorenzen was the difference-maker. The Connecticut right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. The third-place Choppers are now 79-69, the Gators 70-78.
Corey D. Ray was the walk-off hero for Connecticut. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Choppers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Lorenzen said.
