| Choppers Reel Off Another Win | Matt Moore pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Richmond Bullet Club, despite Moore's fine outing, dropped a 2-1 decision to the Connecticut Choppers at Houston Grounds. The losing streak for Richmond has now reached 5 games.
Connecticut took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Yosvani Bell hit a clutch solo home run to bring Choppers fans to their feet.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Connecticut manager Brandon Zima.
