| Seawolves Down MuckDogs, 3-2 | Fans who gathered at Stars Stadium saw a good contest between the Erie Seawolves and Fairview MuckDogs.
Erie right-hander Stephen Strasburg helped his team edge Fairview by the score of 3-2. Strasburg kept the opposing lineup in check. At 83-74, Erie is in third place in the Eastern League North East Divison.
Wilmer Flores's at-bat in the top of the fourth inning was a big one for Erie. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Erie leading 2-1, the second baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Strasburg.
