| Blue Jays Jolt Rough Riders with Late Rally | Winnipeg Blue Jays starter Robert Stephenson was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the San Juan Rough Riders, 3-2. Winnipeg reliever Marc Grice got the win, raising his record to 2-2. Aaron Barrett was tagged with the loss. At 74-85, Winnipeg is in third place in the Western League South West Divison.
This game went down to the wire. In the top of the ninth, Yasmani Grandal had a big at-bat. With no one out, the Winnipeg catcher hit a solo home run, to put his team up, 3-2.
