| MuckDogs Defeat Seawolves, 6-4 | It was a fun time at Stars Stadium, where the Erie Seawolves and Fairview MuckDogs tangled.
The Fairview MuckDogs defeated the Erie Seawolves, 6-4, at Stars Stadium today. Leading the charge for Fairview was left fielder Steven Souza Jr.. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The MuckDogs raised their record to 78-80.
Had Souza Jr. not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Souza Jr. hit a 2-run home run. The MuckDogs never looked back after taking the 6-4 lead.
"Feels good to get the job done," Souza Jr. said after the game.
