Big Day by Seager Ignites Choppers Win

Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old shortstop Corey Seager, the Connecticut Choppers stopped the Avon Lake Schooners, 4-1. The winning continues for Connecticut, with the latest making it 10 straight.

Seager had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, when he hit a 2-run single. The Choppers went on to win.

"I believe in our guys," said Connecticut skipper Brandon Zima. "I like the energy they're playing with."
