| Pride Lose to Indians in Walk Off | The Indianapolis Indians turned back the Nashua Pride, 8-7, at Victory Field. Kevin Kiermaier was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Jeurys Familia picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 7-2. Andrew Miller was tagged with the loss. The Indians are now 80-81, while the Pride fall to 72-89.
Kiermaier had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Andrew Miller, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the Indians a 8-7 lead. It was the 10th home run of the year for Kiermaier.
"I felt good up there," said Kiermaier. "I saw the ball well."
