| Seawolves Raise Rally Flag, Beat Connecticut, 5-2 | Getting an impressive start from Alex Cobb, Erie beat Connecticut by the score of 5-2. The Seawolves bumped their record to 85-76 with this latest triumph.
Maikel Franco, who is tied for 9th in the EL in hits with 180, aided the Erie cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-5 with a triple.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Franco told the Erie Bulletin.
