| Great Day for Glynn in Freedom Win | The Mississippi Freedom topped the Austin Bats, 8-0, with left fielder Justin Glynn playing a big role. Glynn was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Freedom in the win. Daniel Stumpf got the win, improving to 14-9. He held the Bats to no earned runs on 5 hits over 7.2 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Mississippi is now 94-68. Austin is 83-79.
Glynn had a big at-bat with a runner on 3rd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Freedom went on to win.
