| Bats Bang Out 6-1 Win Versus Regina | Austin pitcher Gerrit Cole did his part in helping his team beat the Regina Reapers, 6-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win gives Austin a record of 1-1.
The Bats got a big at-bat from left fielder Tyler Collins. For the game, Collins was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Austin a 3-1 lead.
