| Salazar Now 7-1 After Subduing Rough Riders | Regina right-hander Danny Salazar made an effective start against the San Juan Rough Riders at Ballpark of Kansas City, leading his team to a 1-0 win. Zach Britton picked up the save, his 11th. The Reapers improve their record to 36-19 with the win over San Juan.
Salazar, who dominated for Regina, earned the victory to move to 7-1. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 7. San Juan batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Salazar told the Regina Gazette.
