Reapers Fall Short at Indianapolis
Indianapolis and Regina duked it out at Victory Field and the Indians came out victorious.

The Indianapolis Indians picked up a win at Victory Field, knocking off the Regina Reapers, 3-2. Starting pitcher Raisel Iglesias, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The win was credited to Ken Giles in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Roberto Osuna took the loss.

Indianapolis took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, designated hitter David Ortiz hit a solo home run that set the crowd abuzz.

After the game, Indianapolis manager Ryne Sandberg applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

The Indians bumped their record to 36-28 with this latest triumph.
