| Blue Jays Lose, 4-2, at Ballpark of New Team | Nashua Pride starter Johnny Cueto was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Winnipeg Blue Jays, 4-2. Even with the win, the Pride have a dismal 22-43 record.
Had Will Toffey not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Toffey hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Pride.
Toffey attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
