| Bluefish Spellbound, Estrada Hurls No-Hitter | Marco Estrada was untouchable today at Ballpark of Knightstown, displaying a good fastball and wicked breaking balls in his 7-0 win against the Bridgeport Bluefish. The Stratham hurler did not allow a single hit, fanning 9 while walking 1.
"This is great," Estrada told reporters after the game. "Every pitcher wants a no-hitter. I just wanted the win but the no-hitter is a little extra icing on the victory cake."
His record this season is 8-3 in 13 starts and Estrada has a 2.41 ERA. | |
