| Pride Bang Out 7-2 Win Versus San Juan | The Nashua Pride topped the San Juan Rough Riders, 7-2, in Western League action at Ballpark of Kansas City. The player of the game was Nashua pitcher and Merrillville, Indiana native Jeff Samardzija. The Pride, at 26-45, have now won 4 straight.
In the top of the first inning, catcher Jonathan Lucroy came through big-time for the Pride. With Nashua leading 2-0, he belted a grand slam home run.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Samardzija.
