Indians Finish Off Rough Riders in 12 | San Juan center fielder J.B. Woodman was sensational. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs and a walk, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Indianapolis beat the Rough Riders, 5-4. Woodman was named the player of the game despite the loss. The win was credited to Silvino Bracho in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Aaron Barrett took the loss. Indianapolis now has a 3-game win streak.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Indianapolis catcher Kevin Plawecki, facing Aaron Barrett, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Indians the 5-4 win.
"Our team showed some resilience," said Plawecki. | | | | |
