| Pride Edge Past Freedom, 5-4 | The Nashua Pride took Mississippi pitcher Kevin Gausman's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ballpark of New Team. The final score had Nashua getting past the Freedom, 5-4. Gausman went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs, striking out 5. Nashua is now 27-49.
Ji-man Choi was the walk-off hero for Nashua. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pride pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Choi said.
