| Indians Win Again, Extend Streak to 6 | The first-place Indianapolis Indians welcomed San Juan to Victory Field.
The Indianapolis Indians trumped the San Juan Rough Riders, 4-1, at Victory Field. Indianapolis designated hitter David Ortiz was named player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Tony Watson, credited with the save, is now 3 for 3 in save opportunities.
Ortiz had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Indians went on to win.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Ortiz told the Indianapolis Today.
Indianapolis has a 6-game win streak, while San Juan has lost 4 in a row.
