| Rough Riders Knock Off Coyotes, 5-2 | San Juan pitcher Jason Hammel did his part in helping his team beat the Las Vegas Coyotes, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Hammel picked up the win for San Juan, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 3-12. The Rough Riders improved to 20-59.
Kyle Schwarber, who is rated as the 46th best prospect by BNN, helped out the San Juan cause in the top of the eighth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the left fielder went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
