| MuckDogs Knock Off Seawolves, 6-3 | Fairview played host to Erie at the friendly confines of Stars Stadium.
The Fairview MuckDogs downed the Erie Seawolves, 6-3, at Stars Stadium. The MuckDogs were led by Welington Castillo, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Earning his 2nd save for Fairview was Liam Hendriks.
Castillo contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Fairview in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Castillo took a slider from Keyvius Sampson and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the MuckDogs to leap in front, 4-1.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Fairview manager Mike McAvoy.
With the loss, Erie falls to 3-2.
