| Reapers Bump Off Bats, 6-4 | Austin second baseman Jonathan Schoop had a terrific game. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Regina beat the Bats, 6-4. Schoop was named the player of the game despite the loss. Hansel Robles got credit for the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3 innings. Zach Britton got credit for the save for Regina. It was his 20th of the year.
Edwin Encarnacion's at-bat in the top of the seventh was significant for the Reapers. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Regina leading 4-3, the designated hitter hit a 2-run double.
"It feels good to get this one," Encarnacion told the Regina Chronicle.
The first-place Reapers improved to 48-33.
