| Bisons Conley Has 15 Ks | Everything was working for Adam Conley today at Ballpark of Schofield Barracks. He had the perfect delivery. The ball was moving. The change up was working.
In an unforgettable performance, the 26-year-old Conley fanned 15 Counts and sparked the Buffalo Bisons to a 6-0 victory over Ellendale. He left Counts hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it.
"I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said Buffalo manager Bud Black. "His location and command were really something."
In addition to collecting 15 strikeouts over 7.1 innings, Conley allowed 3 hits and no walks in a superlative outing.
"I thought I'd make it easy on the guys today," Conley said with a smile.
In 14 starts this season, Conley has picked up 7 wins while suffering 3 losses. He has pitched 94.2 innings, allowed 74 hits, struck out 135 and posted a 2.38 ERA. | |
