| Rough Riders Turn Back Austin, 4-2 | The San Juan Rough Riders got a stellar performance from pitcher Zach Kirby, who handcuffed the Austin offense en route to a 4-2 win at Ballpark of Kansas City. Kirby, the winner, moves to 2-3. He threw 7.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks. With the win, the Rough Riders have a record of 25-62.
Chris Colabello, who is tied for 8th in the WL in extra base hits with 33, helped out the San Juan cause in the bottom of the third inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the right fielder was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI.
"We did a lot of things right," said Colabello.
