| Indians Win at Manitoba, 3-2 | Benefiting from Nolan Arenado's productive game, the Indianapolis Indians downed the Manitoba Moose, 3-2. Arenado went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times for the Indians. Indianapolis now sits at 23-26, while Manitoba falls to 31-19.
The Indians beat the Moose in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Cavan Biggio produced in the top of the fourth. Batting against Manitoba pitcher Alex Wood, Biggio gave his team a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run single.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Arenado, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
