| Gators Edge Renegades, 4-3 | Florida Gators starter Corey Kluber was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Raleigh Renegades, 4-3. Reliever Hector Rondon picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Charlie Furbush took the loss. The Gators improve their record to 24-34 with the win over Raleigh.
A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when designated hitter Ryan Braun, who is tied for 7th in the EL in doubles with 14, reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. The Gators went on to win.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Florida manager Steve Strzepek .
